Hi everybody!!! Hope your week is going very well and hope you have a Blessed weekend!!
This first necklace is my entry for this week's Year of Jewelry Project. This week the theme is Music! So I would like to introduce you to The Blues!!! LOL! I love music, It has the power to make you happy or sad, energetic, or relaxed. It can empower you and make you feel helpless!!! I really love music! Please leave a comment on this necklace if you want. I love the comments! The beads in this necklace come mostly from the new strands from the Jesse James Beads!!! Some of them are very retro and some of the crystals are just amazing!
I made this necklace tonight and I made the pink wrap bracelet that is all crystal [well almost all] and the simple peachy colored bracelet! I really had a lot of fun! I have another project on m y table right now. I am trying to learn chain maille! So right now I have a bracelet that is about 2/3rds done! It is going together ok but it is very time consuming!
Double strand memory wire crystal bracelet.
Retro beads from the Jesse James bead company!
Always remember you are all in my heart and in my prayers. Love you all and GOD BLESS!!!

The first 7 pictures are different views of the bracelet I made for Year of Jewelry Project, week 2 called "Grace"! I am having a great time with this Project. Week three is "Music" I have not had a chance to get started on this yet. Stay tuned, I hope to make a wonderful piece! We will see!
I have had read some wonderful blogs for the Memories and Thanks Blog Hop! The Jewelry is amazing and the Tributes and special Thanks are tearful and sweet and loving!
The rest of the pictures are some of the new pieces we are making right now! I will add to this tomorrow! Let me know what you think! Have a Wonderful Week!
This bracelet is a 3 strand with bronzy [is that a word? It is now...LOL] links and a 5 strand bar at either end. I used lots of crystals [ I am a crystal freak!!!] and a few charms to create a warm "graceful" feel.
There are 2 angels on this bracelet at opposite ends just to keep you company!
This bracelet is very dangle-y!!!! Mostly copper colors with a silver toned owl and crystals [again LOL] This one is not heavy but very fun to wear!
The Bracelet above is in rich purples and the crystal is black and the faceting on the crystal makes it look like a flower! I love Celtic beads and just had to throw some in this!
This bracelet is very simple and elegant. Crystals in clear and silver and snow with a large frosted glass bead in the center.
You can see the faceting on this better in this picture above!
Hope everybody has a Blessed Day!

Welcome to all [and I hope there is a lot] the visitors to my blog for the Memories and Thanks Blog Hop!
There are a lot of people in my life that are really special. My hubby! My Sister, my Daughter, Son, Son-in-Law, My Grandson, my Dad [especially my DAD] my Brother, Brother -in-law and a lot of friends! That is just the ones that I can reach out and touch!!! LOL When Lori started this Blog Hop late last year, I thought it would be great to get in and say thanks to all the special people in my life! There is not enough room or enough time to tell everybody how special they are to me!
So I decided to use this to say Thank You to.....
Lori, Marlene, Jami, Sandra, Gloria, Lena, Bonnie, and all of the other WONDERFUL friends that I have met here in Bead Soup Cafe!!!When I first discovered this it was when I saw the book about Lori's
Bead Soup! I read a little and thought... Wow, wouldn't that be fun. I
commented to Lori, and that was what Started it all!!!
So Thank You so much to Lori McDaniel Anderson, first for being so very very good at what you do, and for letting me in to this great group and just for being You!! In this group I have met Lori, then I met Marlene, and Marlene you are such a sweet and loving person too!!! I Thank You for all of your help and understanding and Patience when we started the Inspiration Challenge!! I had never been a part of something so far flung and so much fun!!! In the last few months, I have not only met really special people but I have also found out a lot about myself!!! I love beading! It is a great constant in my life! I love my business! When I got here, I really was not doing a whole lot with my business. I did not know what a blog was or how to start one, Thank You Lori and Jami for help there!!! I could probably fill 2 or 3 pages with how Thankful and Grateful I am to all the wonderful people here!!! I won't...LOL but I could! The point of all of this is to say that When I needed someone [ or ones] to help me solidify my thoughts about my business and to think in abstracts for Inspiration challenges and to figure out where I wanted to go...YOU WERE ALL HERE FOR ME!!! SO THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN THE BEAD SOUP CAFE Community! I am more focused and driven than I have ever been and I owe it all to you All! The bracelet is my way of saying that I am happy and that my life is Wonderful thanks in part to all of my wonderful friends here!!!

WONDERFUL!!! MY LIFE!
BRIGHT COLORS!!!

Good Morning ALL!!! I did not get a chance to add to the blog from Saturday night/Sunday morning...so here is the rest of it! I got the ok to join the Year of Jewelry Project on Saturday. I worked until 9:15ish, warmed up the car, and then drove home! I got home about 10:30 and said Hi to my hubby, kiss kiss, then went straight to my table and started to put a bracelet together! I had decided on the drive home what type of jewelry piece I was going to create.
I got out the pieces and started to put it together, I knew the "feel" I wanted, the movement, the texture...
I knew what I wanted others to feel when they saw it...so all I had to do was put it together so that I got what I wanted...LOL!!!
So I attached, shifted, unattached, reattached,shifted... wow!!! Added my "speaking charms" and thought...ewww, I don't like those colors, so while it was still attached I repainted them using the "ranger" alcohol inks. Then I am like...ok...hmm...OK!
I took my pictures and uploaded them at about 11:45 Phew!!! that was a little close for me!
One of the comments I received asked about the mediums I used.
I found Tim Holtz paints last year sometime before we got too involved with the craft shows. Not sure what I had seen that made me want to try them but they are really fun to use!! I use them in a very limited fashion if you go by the tutorials on them but what I do works for me!!
When I work with charms like the "speaking tags" I like to use the applicator system he has. It makes the process faster and is easy and fun.
Hope you enjoy this piece, I am working on the Idea for the next Year of Jewelry entry.
While I was thinking of jewelry I remembered I had 2 deadlines coming up!
I started and finished my Memories and Thanks jewelry piece and I am working on Ideas for the Inspiration Challenge from Sandy McGriff! Both of those deadlines are Jan. 12th!
Hope everybody has a great and Blessed week!
Always remember you are all in my heart and in my prayers. Love you all and GOD BLESS!!!
