I finally got some pictures up for here just now!!! LOL.  I still don't know how to do this very well! But they are here!  This first picture is the Week 7 of the Year of Jewelry Challenge... Off the Cuff.  This bracelet is made of a chain bracelet I got a while back, kind of chain maille,[ I am still trying to learn how to do that], and a pewter colored filigree piece.  I attached it to the chain with big o rings and use the o rings to put my charms on.  The charms are dangles that I made with turquoise dyed magnasite and crystals and a key , to turn the lock of your imagination!

I usually know what something is going to look like when I start putting it together.  Not this piece,  It was quite litterally ...Off The Cuff.

So this piece is for the Year of Jewelry, Week 8, Multiples. Large ceramic focals lend drama and the crystals  and black round beads and bead caps tie it all together.  It is no a matchy matchy set but a coordinating set instead.  Multiple pieces that can be worn together or separate.

And this piece is the Week 9 Year of Jewelry entry, week 9 is Simplicity.  This works for that!  Large oval pearly acrylic beads and cherry quartz[glass] with just a touch of silver toned spacers.

This next piece  is for the Non-Blogger,Blogger challenge on Bead Soup Cafe.  The picture is of an Ethiopian Market and the People that are there.  We are to use the picture to inspire us to make a piece of jewelry that speaks to us through this picture.  I thought the picture show warmth and tradition ans well as difference and aloofness.  It seemed to be a study in textures and contrasts.  I love the picture.  This is the piece that I created for it.

I really am having fun with all the challenges and the BSBP7 that I am in.  And I am in a person to person bead swap for sea urchin colors and I can't wait for that either!!

I hope everybody has a Blessed week.

Always remember you are always in my heart and in my prayers, Love you all and GOD BLESS!!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!!!
I am having a Wonderful [read crazy] morning!!!  I woke up with a crappy headache,[nothing really odd about that, it happens almost every morning], and was hoping that the weather  people had been wrong about the nasty winter weather they were saying was on our way...No such luck!  My car was under 3in. of ice and snow, window all ice...LOL just so much fun at 5:30 in the am!  Now I know that 3in. is really no big deal but still...LOL
The roads are not their best right now so a 35-40 min. drive took over an hour!!!  The really bright side of this is that I got here just fine, I did not end up in a ditch like a couple other cars I saw this morning and the headache has backed off to a dull throb!!!  So it really is a GREAT DAY!!!
I know that some of my favorite people are having serious health issues right now.  They know who they are.  So right here I am going to ask for all of my friends and their friends and their friends and...[you get the idea] to Pray Without Ceasing for the comfort and healing of these wonderful people!  If you have friends that are in need as well just add them [names not needed] and they will go on my list and hopefully everybody's  list for prayers!!!  I have never met a more friendly and compassionate group of people in my life!!!
They have been there when I needed them in the last few months and now I need to be there for them!!!
Now, I really hope everybody has a wonderful [read WONDERFUL] and BLESSED day!!!

So About a week ago today, I was given a Wonderful opportunity to make a display of our jewelry at a really special hair salon named Cilantro Hair Spa!  They are in a very Nice area of a nearby city.
My Daughter Melody get her hair styled, cut, colored etc... there.
They do an Awesome job!!
We use louvers for a lot of our displays and it worked out perfect
here!
Some of the pieces were created for Cilantro especially and all of them were picked to work in this environment.  We get so excited when people like our designs and want to show and sell them for us!!!  This is what we want to do! This and internet sales and lots and lots of shows.
I tried to turn some of these upright and could not get it done. Blahh!!!

For those of you in this area, don't forget, Cilantro Hair Spa is really pretty close to Elkhart, Bremen, South Bend and it is in Mishawaka .
Hope you go there when you need anything done with your hair!!

I am going back to beading so that I can get more pictures for here and my other pages.  Always remember you are all in my heart and in my prayers.  Love you all and GOD BLESS!!!!
