Good Friday Morning to Everybody!!!
I am lucky enough to be a member of a wonderful group by the name of Beed Peeps!!! [Waving Madly Hi Hi!!!] And even more Exciting than that I got in on the Swap N Hop and we just got our partners a day or two ago!! I work retail and this is Valentine's Day week so I will be running behind until probably Tuesday! LOL
My partner in this swap is the Lovely and Talented Karen Mitchell!
She is a Australian mother of 2 teenage daughters and she married her high school sweetie.
Those are the basics and you can find them on her blog overthemoon-designs.com
What I saw was a wonderful feel for color [she loves using color palettes as inspiration for herself and even more for others] .
Her design look classy and very wearable. That is what you see on the surface. [I usually look under that] Under the surface you can see whimsy, asymmetric know how and a love for texture.
I can't wait to get to know her better!
Have a really Blessed Day!!!

Hello to all of My Wonderful Bead Peeps and Friends!
I need to apologize for not getting this posted sooner!!! Life gets a little messy sometimes doesn't it??
Well I think that is all done and now I want to let you know a little bit about me!
I am a member of the fun facebook group, Bead Peeps! We are doing an event that is called "Swap n Hop".
I really love doing swaps and I love blog hops so this is doubly wonderful for me!
This post is to let you know who I am and what I use and like and what kind of jewelry I make.
So I LOVE jasper, agate and other natural stones and all of their colors and textures. I am addicted to crystals and almost always put crystal in every piece I make. I use all types of crystals and I love czech fired and pressed glass. I use lots and lots of different types of charms. Affirmations charms and the gear types and butterflies and owls and all kinds of other designs. I am doing some of my own embossing so I love blanks. I am working with sari silk and shibbori ribbon and have devised a type of knotting with threads and yarns that I plan on using in some of my new jewelry. I also use lots and lots of chain, and I love chunky patterned or textured chain.
This next subject has been brought up on our group page and I want to make sure everybody know where I am on this issue!!!
I am generous. I am generous because I want to be and because right now I can be! That being said, I do not expect anyone else to do anymore than what they can! I think we are supposed to send an artisan component and a clasp maybe? Send me what you want me to have! That is what I will promise to do for you!!!
Ok, so now you know what I like and what I use. Now I am going to show you what I make.
I hope you enjoyed meeting me!! LOL Have a Blessed Day!!!

Indivajewelsed!
My name is Robin Kae Reed and I am a stringer...LOL I string beautiful stones and crystals and lucite and fiber and metal and make necklaces and bracelets, earrings and more. My partner in crime is my lovely daughter Melody.
I have been working with stones and the like for about 7 years. My company, Artistry, is gathering a following but it is very slow. I have a full time [50-60 hr. a week] job and then this as well and I also am Blessed to have a wonderful 12yr. old grandson that loves to spend time with his nana!
This Build a Line Challenge is , I think, just the kick in the but that I need to get me more focused and motivated to really advance my business.
Hope you will follow me here with all of the blogs and the pictures we will show and the final reveal in March. the 1st blog hop is just a week away and I am getting geared up to make a couple of "teaser" pictures just to get you excited [I hope] for more.
Have a Blessed day.

Hello Hello Hello!!! LOL I am just about jumping over the moon right now!!! I have been accepted into the B'Sue Boutique Build A Line Challenge!!!
What is the Build A Line Challenge?
It is a 3 month immersive challenge that will give you the skills you need, or hone the ones you have, to create a successful jewelry line to take your business to the next level!
To me that means taking the helter skelter way of designing that I have and creating a cohesive line of jewelry that SHOUTS ARTISTRY!!!
I want people to see this jewelry and say "Oh I know this Artist". That is what I want to take away from this challenge. It will be a serious challenge for me and I think that is what I need.
I hope you will follow me while I do this challenge. I will keep you up to date right here on my blog! We will be posting new pics and information in just a few days. i will let you know about that on facebook. Until then...Hugs and Blessings to you all!!!

Welcome to the Bead Hoarder's Blog Hop!!! I am a Bead Hoarder!
Not exactly like others you will meet in this hop but a hoarder none the less!!!
A lot of the Amazing Beaders whose blogs you will read will have beads they don't bead with or keep because inspiration has not struck or they are very precious!
I am a bead hoarder because when I get on a roll designing fun beady projects, I don't stop to do something as "organized" as putting the beads away before starting on another project!!! LOL So if you think about it, here I am beading away, bracelet after ring after earrings after necklace, never putting the other beads away...
Got that picture in your head...something resembling a small mountain range or a volcano erupting!!! LOL You would be soooooo RIGHT!!!
So how do you find room? Where do you make the next project when you are swimming in beads on your table...I found A solution [not necessarily the right solution but...]
I MAKE A CHRISTMAS BOX!!!
What is a Christmas Box? all of those wonderful beads that are rolling around with all of the other wonderful beads get...wait for it...dumped in...YOU GUESSED IT...1 storage box!!, or cardboard box or glad bag or...
I call it a Christmas box because every time you open it, it is like Christmas, you never know what you will find.
I took pictures of my Christmas box that I will design out of this time...yes Friends, I do have more than 1...lol
So I made a couple of pieces out of the box I am showing you. It is really fun and hey when you are done you don't have to sort the beads anymore!!!
So I sifted through all of the beads in the box, turned the box over and sifted through all of those beads too! I found several beads of a couple of different kinds so I started working out the designs!

My first design is a double stranded necklace with acrylic patterned beads and ceramic beads I got in a destash..see I was helping someone else with their hoarded beads too!!! LOL.
I wanted something striking but not seriously time consuming as I was already a couple of days late!!!
So Of course I had to throw in some crystal and a couple of pretty alloy charms just to make it a bit more snazzy. Simple doesn't have to mean boring.!!
So there are a couple of other pictures of this necklace. The blue and the silver and the crystals in green all come together nicely!

You can see some of the beads I worked with in these pictures. I am sure you will recognize them in just a minute!

Then i went to work on the other beads I found that I wanted to work with! They are red ceramic patterned beads and a larger not quite as red acrylic bead. I used memory wire on this one! The ceramic beads give it some weight and the acrylic make it so that it is not uncomfortably heavy. Here are a couple of different pictures of this design as well! I really hope you had as much fun with my Christmas box as I did.
Don't forget to go to Lori McDaniel Anderson's blog for a list of all the wonderful beady hoarders! prettythingsblog.com. Have a Blessed Day!!!Saturday, October 25, 2014
Leaves fall fall fall softly,
curls of color fall fall fall,
rushed along by the brisk
breath of Autumn,
Crunching under foot,
leaves fall fall fall,
generous bright colors,
BRILLIANT YELLOWS
VIVID ORANGES
DEEP DEEP REDS
leaves fall fall fall,
stretching reaching branches,
no vivid colors for cover,
rattle like skeletons in a
brilliantly colored bone yard.
rattling there waiting waiting,
till their winter robes of white,
fall fall fall gently softly
on the stretching branches.
I love Autumn...Fall...it is my favorite time! I love the look, the smells the brilliant vivid colors!!! They say "stop and smell the roses" I say Stop and Smell the FALL!!!
Love and Blessings to All!!!
I love participating in the fun and challenging Blog Hops of Toltec Jewels!!! Many thanks and lots of love to you Rita!!! Hope you enjoy your hop everybody!!!
