Hi Everybody!!! Linda of Bead Peeps said to show you some

pictures of my designs!!  SOOOO here they are!

I am working on making my own embossed components as you
can see in the heart bracelet.  I am completely in Love with

crystals and jasper and agate.

I do unusual and always One Of A Kind designs.

I can do simple like this cross.
I can do  much more complex.

I can do Bright colors.

And I can do muted natural tones as well.
And even a bit more architectural.
I hope you enjoy these.
We also do custom...just sayin'

Have a Blessed Day!!!

BEAD PEEPS SWAP AND HOP

I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!! It is almost time to do another fun Bead Peeps SWAP AND HOP!!!

I haven't done any blogging in months as you can see!!!  So Sorry about that!!  But I am back and I am just chomping at the bit to get my blog started for the Newest swap!  It is always a challenge, and surprise, and so so so much fun!

For those of you that don't know me, here is a quick rundown.

I am a self taught jewelry designer.  My favorite method of designing is stringing.  That being said I rarely do just one type of method when designing. Just like I don't use one kind of medium in a design. I love using sari silk or shabbori ribbon and embossed tags and chain and dangles...sometimes all in the same design.

I am always trying to better my skills, and expand my repertoire so to speak with those different methods and new components.

My favorite items to work with are agates, jasper, most any kind of genuine stone.  I love high end stones for their elegance and more modest stones as well for their casual and fun feel.
I use paper, and acrylic, and silk and crystals...LOVE CRYSTALS, stones of all kinds, and found objects like watch faces etc...  I use saying tags, keys, angel wings, chain links, leather, and the list can on, and  on, and on!

I love to take pictures and do lots of those. I am not a computer geek and often make mistakes on the posting and where the pics end up but I am trying.  LOL

I hope you will join me here as I keep a running schedule of what is happening in the Bead Peeps Swap and Hop!  Thank you so much for coming by and I will see you soon!!!

Bead Peeps Swap and Hop! Reveal!

Just a reminder of what my New Friend Karen Mitchell sent me!  I was so excited about the beads and all that I started using them...forgetting that I was supposed to make pretties for the swap and hop!!! LOL So all of the mookite beads and the larger rose quartz are gone too!  I do however have the focals together and I made 3 pieces.
With the lovely bracelet bar, [Karen gave me the names of the artists and I lost the paper...blah!!!] but I made a bracelet with with the bracelet [imagine that...LOL].  I used a leather bracelet and added a Cherish saying tag, and a cool bronzy key and some of the artisan beads as well as charms. i chose gold colored metal to make the colors pop and then I used Bronzy metal as well.

I used the clay focal, It reminds of the amazing soustache designs I have seen.  They are so intricate and beautiful.  this focals is intricate and really beautiful!  I made it into a choker so it would lay right in the hollow of your throat. I tried a bunch of different beads to go with the focal and simply did not like any of them  then I tried some assorted czech glass and regular glass beads...success!!!  this is not my usual design but when the focal is so amazing adding a lot to the necklace can detract from the focal.  So simple was the name of this game.
And my last design for this swap and hop is using the Kari Asbury focal.  I know who made this one because I have been fortunate enough to be able to work with her designs before.
I did not go quite as simple with this one but still not my usual design.  I love the colors in the focal so I tried to pick those up in the necklace.  I added a few little charms and some color and called it .good.
